Andrew Colvin at Shout Booking broke my heart yesterday. He informed me that Spotlight Artist Gingersol called it quits earlier this year. That's why the updates on their site have been pretty much nonexistent these past few months. I'll see if I can get in touch with Seth and Steve and see what their doing regarding solo stuff or other group projects.
While this news is a total bummer, at least these boys were able to release a handful of great albums during their time together. Without a doubt, their Rubric Records' debut The Train Wreck Is Behind You has its place in the BFN Hall of Fame. Hell, while I was away at Clio Judging earlier this month, it proved once again to be an office favorite for the third year in a row.
