We have a new Spotlight Artist in our midst. They're a Norwegian rock group named SPAN.
Strangely enough, I first heard SPAN in a recent commercial for the Nissan Xterra. In between all the extreme sports clips of kayakers hurling themselves off 200-foot waterfalls onto sharp rocks and John Q. Metrosexual wrestling with polar bears - not to mention all the cool overhead shots of the SUV making its own road through the Himalayas AND later on the Vatican - there was an incredibly rockin' tune in the background. I did a little research and discovered SPAN. On a whim, I bought their record Mass Distraction from CD WOW! in the UK and the rest is history.
Simply put, SPAN kicks serious ass. I CANNOT stop listening to their music. I suggest you go out and get a copy of Mass Distraction today. And if you have any friends in Norway, pass along their info so I can beg them to send me a copy of their latest release vs. Time. (It's only available for purchase on their home turf right now.
