It's time to let you in on the big news: BFN will soon be going independent. We will still be utilizing the WUIC radio studio every now and then for band interviews and whatnot, but it's long past time that we distance ourselves from the dreaded "college radio" label and do our own thing.
What does that mean for you? Alas, you won't be able to listen to us live. Due to recent bullshit laws passed by Congress, we simply cannot afford to host our own live webstream. However, podcasting is where it's at these days, so we urge you to subscribe to the BFN Podcast. (If you use iTunes, go ahead and click HERE.)
After seven entertaining years in broadcasting, we'd like to think that BFN Networks is finally hitting its stride. We've perfected our comedy format; networked with artists local, nationwide and global; introduced you to groundbreaking new music; and designed a nice place on the Web for anyone to visit us. What we need to do now is cultivate a wider audience. Seriously, the only thing we're missing now is you! So, please, if you like what you hear, let us know!
