Okay, you Fuzzy Muppets, it's time to unleash the REALLY AWESOME NEWS.
It's confirmed: BFN has THREE in-studio band interviews slated over Labor Day Weekend 2005. Here's what you need to know.
Hardrockmeister Spotlight Artist Danko Jones will be stopping by UIC Radio on Friday, 09/02 at 5:30 p.m. to personally smash one of Dave's guitars! Senselessly violent and completely unnecessary -- ROCK ON! (Oh yeah -- no crying, Snugs! You be a man in front of Danko. He won't tolerate sissies and neither will BFN. Walk it off!)

If you're still hungry for even more rock'n'roll, we'll bring out a second course on Sunday, 09/04 at 1:30 p.m. in the form of Spotlight Artist Silvertide. Tune in to hear these five boys pump new life into classic rock. (Maybe now Aerosmith can retire with peace of mind. Let's just hope they do it before even more people get hurt.)

Last but not least, The Spam All-Stars will be jamming with us on 09/05 -- the actual DAY OF LABOR -- at 6:00 p.m. If you're still wound up about languishing in bumper-to-bumper traffic all weekend, you can work off that stress by shakin' your ass to the funky -- and, yes, you guessed it -- fresh sounds of DJ le Spam & Co. That's what I plan on doing! (Hey, if we can survive these hateful gas prices, I think that's more than enough reason to celebrate.)

There you go, kids. Three interviews. Got it? 3! THREE, DAMNIT, THREE! Count 'em: 1, 2, 3. Hell yeah -- do I rock or what? Now pay my phone bill! Networking ain't cheap, you know!

P.S. Rumor has it that maybe, just maybe, we have a FOURTH interview set up for this weekend. I refuse to count my chickens before they hatch -- especially when this particular chicken weighs 800 pounds -- but I will say this: my request for an interview hasn't been declined yet.
In other words, DO keep your fingers crossed for Collective Soul. Thank you.
Peace out.
Word.
